Salvia Tricolor Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bushy half hardy annual has pretty spikes of flowers in various shades of purple, pink and white from mid summer.

A lovely plant for a sunny mixed border and makes a lovely cut flower.

The flowers can be dried for long lasting displays around the home.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into individual pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
