This heavy cropping reliable bean is a red flowered variety that produces good flavoured  long smooth delicious pods.

 

Excellent for exhibition.

Sow April - June

 

Sow into pots or trays on a sunny window sill or greenhouse during April  covering the seed with 25mm of compost plant out when all chance of frost has passed 25cm apart and 45cm between rows into a sunny position with moist fertile soil. 

 

Alternatively sow direct outside into warm soil from May against canes or net planting 1 bean per cane 25cm apart. 

 

Support the beans with canes or net and keep well watered during hot weather. 

 

Plant some extra seed at the end of the row just incase some beans fail to germinate.
