Perennial Rocket 'Lola' (Diplotaxis tenuifolia 'Lola') is an organically bred variety known for its compact growth and fresh green, round-shaped, indented leaves.

This wild rocket offers a pleasantly sweet flavour with mild spiciness, making it a delightful addition to salads and culinary dishes. 

 

'Lola' is slow to bolt, providing an extended harvest period and has good resistance to downy mildew, ensuring healthier plants.

Sowing Instructions:

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds between February- September in seed trays or pots filled with moist, well-drained compost from March to April. Lightly cover the seeds with compost and maintain a temperature of 15–20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle and the risk of frost has passed, transplant them into the garden or containers.

 

Outdoors:

Sow directly into prepared soil from April to August. Ensure the seeds are lightly pressed into the soil and keep moist until germination occurs. Thin out seedlings to ensure adequate space for each plant to grow.

 

To encourage continuous leaf production, harvest leaves regularly. Perennial Rocket 'Lola' benefits from consistent watering but does not thrive in waterlogged soil.
