Pumpkin Bishop's Hat ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This very attractive climbing variety also known as Turks Turban has green, white and orange skins with a deep orange flesh.

It's very ornamental but can be eaten as well.

Use in Baking, pies and roasting

Sow from April onwards into pots 1.5 cm deep placing two seeds on their sides leave on a sunny window sill or in a propagator and keep moist.

Remove the weeker seedling and grow on when the plants get 4/5 leaves gently accustom them to the outside and plant out leaving 120cm between plants when the chance of frost has passed.

Alternatively sow outside in June 120cm apart placing 2 seeds in the ground 1.5cm deep remove the weaker seedling when they emerge.
