Pansy Clear Crystal Light Blue Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low growing pansy has large clear blue flowers with a tiny yellow eye over attractive dark green foliage from spring onwards.

They are great colour in a flower borders or container displays plant in blocks on their own or with contrasting colours for eye catching displays.

Can be grown as a short lived perennial or biennial.

Loam, clay or sand soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between February - March on a sunny window sill or propagator into a seed tray of moist compost, cover the seed 6mm deep with sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into trays 5cm apart to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants when all risk of frosts have passed and plant out 25cm apart.

Alternatively sow in a cold frame July - August to plant out in autumn to flower the following spring.
