Night Scented Stock Lilac Rose Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These small star shapped lilac pink flowers stand on slender stems, a pretty annual for growing in a sunny border or along a pathway so their fragrance can be appreciated.

Sow little and often during summer for flowers throughout summer.

Cut back after flowering

Sow from March on a sunny window sill into a tray of moist compost covering with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into trays spacing the plants 5cm apart to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants when all risk of frosts has passed spacing the plants 30cm apart.

Alternatively sow direct outside in April into finely raked moist soil in a sunny spot when the seedlings emerge gradually thin them to 10cm apart.
