Sowing Instructions

Indoors: Sow seeds from February to April on the surface of moist compost in seed trays or pots. Do not cover the seeds, as they require light to germinate. Keep at 18-20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick them out into individual pots. Harden off and plant outdoors after the risk of frost has passed, spacing 30 cm apart.

 

Outdoors: Sow directly into prepared soil in May. Lightly press seeds onto the surface but do not cover. Thin seedlings to 30 cm apart once established.
