Nasturtium Moonlight Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow annual has long trailing stems upto 3 metres long that are smothered in soft yellow flowers over light green foliage from mid summer until the first frosts.

Ideal for growing in containers or flower borders or let it Scrabble up trellis and fences.

Sow March - May

Germination time 7-10 days

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Flowering time June - September

Planting ideas Hanging baskets, pots, containers, beds, borders, low maintenance, cottage, edible flowers

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between March - May into individual pots 3 or 4 seeds per pot on a sunny window sill when the seedlings are large enough to handle pot into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Plant out when all risk of frost has passed.

Alternatively sow the seed direct into baskets and containers from late April where they are to grow.
