African Marigold Fantasy Orange is a spectacular bedding marigold variety grown for its huge, fully double flowers in vivid orange.

 

The blooms are tightly packed with incurved petals, creating a fluffy pom pom effect that stands out brilliantly in summer displays.

The plants are tall and sturdy, typically 60 to 80 cm in height, with dark green foliage that provides a strong contrast to the glowing blooms.

 

They are easy to grow, drought tolerant once established, and flower freely from June until the first frosts.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds thinly in trays of moist compost and cover lightly. Keep at 18 to 22°C until germination. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost, spacing 30 to 40 cm apart.

 

Grow and Maintenance
