Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to May in seed trays or pots filled with well-draining compost. Lightly cover with compost and maintain a temperature of 18–21°C until germination. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 30–45 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered location.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in a well-prepared, sunny bed from May to June. Lightly cover with soil, water gently, and thin seedlings to the recommended spacing once they are large enough to handle.
