Tarzan is an impressive iceberg lettuce variety, bred for its exceptionally large and firm heads. Each plant forms a compact, tightly closed ball of leaves that can weigh close to 1 kilogram. The outer leaves are medium green and slightly wavy, while the inner heart is pale, crisp, and juicy.

 

This variety is particularly valued for its resistance to bolting, allowing it to stand well in the ground during warm weather without quickly deteriorating. With a cropping time of around 80 to 90 days from sowing.

Sowing Instructions

Grow and Maintenance
