Lavender English ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low maintenance aromatic evergreen shrub is a long flowering favourite with spikes of fragrant purple flowers that bloom throughout summer on bushy green foliage.

An excellent addition to the garden for attracting valuable wildlife especially pollinating insects.

A compact lavender that would make a nice low growing hedge or container displays on a sunny patio.

The leaves and flowers are also edible.

Trim after flowering

Sow between February - July into a tray of moist compost 5mm deep and place on a warm window sill, cold frame or cool greenhouse.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on. Plant out after the risk of frost has passed 30cm apart.
