Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds on the surface of moist well drained compost and do not cover as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 15 to 20°C in a propagator or covered tray. Transplant small clumps when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after the last frost spacing 10 to 15 cm apart. For direct sowing scatter thinly over prepared soil and keep moist until established.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Keep soil evenly moist especially during dry spells. Trim lightly to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Avoid waterlogging in winter. Irish Moss thrives in cool moist conditions and is ideal for rockeries paths containers and groundcover planting.
