Sowing Instructions

Indoors: Sow thinly on the surface of moist seed compost from March to April. Lightly press seeds into the surface without covering, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 15–18°C and keep the compost evenly moist. Transplant seedlings into small pots once large enough to handle, then harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

Outdoors: Direct sow from April to May in a sunny, well-prepared bed. Scatter seeds thinly, lightly rake in, and water gently. Thin seedlings as needed to allow strong, bushy growth and abundant flowering.
