Direct sow outdoors from late April to early June in well-prepared, fertile soil. Sow seeds 2.5 cm deep, spacing them 20 cm apart. Keep the soil consistently moist and water regularly, especially during dry spells. Mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
