Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds individually in pots or modules from January to April. Cover lightly with compost and maintain a temperature of 20–25°C. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Once seedlings are strong, pot on into 9 cm pots and grow on in warm, bright conditions.

 

Outdoors/Greenhouse:

After the last frost, transplant into a greenhouse, polytunnel, or warm, sheltered spot with fertile soil. Space plants 40–50 cm apart. Water regularly and feed with a high-potash fertiliser once flowering begins. Support plants as needed and harvest fruits when fully coloured and firm.
