Evening Primrose Missouri Seeds – Irish Plants Direct
 
A hardy perennial prized for its large, lemon yellow blooms that open in the evening and last through the following day.
 
Missouri Evening Primrose forms a low, spreading mound of silvery green foliage, making it ideal for rock gardens, borders, and wildlife friendly planting schemes.
 
It thrives in dry conditions and poor soils, bringing a splash of colour to challenging sites.

Sowing Instructions
 
Sow indoors from February to April. Sow seeds on the surface of moist compost and lightly cover. Keep at 18 to 22°C until germination. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and harden off before planting out after the last frost. Direct sowing outdoors in spring is also successful.
 
Grow and Maintenance
 
Water sparingly once established, as plants are drought-tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering. Suitable for dry, sunny borders, wildlife gardens, and rockeries.
