Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors in trays or small pots filled with moist compost. Cover lightly and keep at a steady temperature until germination. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost in a sunny well drained position. Alternatively, sow directly into prepared soil in late spring.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during establishment, then sparingly once plants are growing strongly. Remove faded blooms to encourage continuous flowering. For dried flowers, cut stems just before the blooms fully open and hang upside down in a warm dry place. Ideal for borders, cutting gardens and craft use.

Success Tip: Harvest early in the day when the blooms are dry for the best quality dried flowers.
