Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds on the surface of moist compost and press lightly without covering, as light aids germination. Keep at 18 to 22°C until seedlings appear. Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 30 to 40 cm apart. Erigeron self-seeds readily and spreads naturally once established.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water during dry spells until established, then reduce watering. Avoid overfeeding. Deadhead to prolong flowering or allow to self-seed for informal displays. Suitable for walls, steps, gravel gardens, and containers. Cut back lightly in spring to encourage fresh growth.
