Sow March to May directly outdoors in prepared beds. Germination 7 to 21 days at 15 to 20°C. Soil and Position Fertile well drained soil; prefers full sun. Height 20 to 60 cm depending on species. Flowering June to September.

Prepare a fine seed bed in full sun. Scatter seeds evenly over the soil surface and rake in lightly. Water well after sowing and keep soil evenly moist during dry spells. Thin seedlings as necessary to avoid overcrowding.
