Echinacea Bravado Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
 
This popular perennial is a border favourite known as a purple coneflower it as a large central brown cone surrounded by pinky purple petals.
 
A lovely daisy that blooms over over dark green foliage for a long period of time during summer.
 
Grow in drifts for a stunning effect they also make a nice cut flower.

Sow between February - April a warm window sill, cool greenhouse or cold frame into trays of moist compost cover with 5cm of sieved compost.
 
When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.
 
Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position spacing 40cm apart.
 
Sow between May - July in a prepared seed bed in rows 30cm apart.
When large enough to grow thin to 10cm apart transplant to their final flowering position 40cm apart to flower the following summer.
