Seed Qty Approx 2 grams

 

Sow April to June indoors or directly outdoors after the last frost. Germination 7 to 14 days at 18 to 22°C. Soil and Position Fertile well drained soil enriched with compost; prefers full sun. Height and Spread Bushy plants reaching 60 cm tall and 90 cm wide. Harvesting July to September; pick fruits when 15 to 20 cm long for best flavour.

 

Sowing instructions

Sow seeds individually in pots indoors from April or directly outdoors after frost risk has passed. Plant seeds 2 cm deep. Harden off indoor seedlings before transplanting. Space plants 90 cm apart in rows. Water well after sowing and keep soil evenly moist.

 

Grow and maintenance
