Sow March to June directly outdoors or in pots. Germination 7 to 14 days at 15–20°C. Soil and Position Fertile well drained soil; prefers full sun. Height 30–60 cm with finely divided leaves and umbels of white flowers. Harvesting Leaves from May onwards; seeds from July to September.

 

Sowing instructions

Prepare a fine seed bed in full sun. Sow seeds thinly in drills 1 cm deep and 25 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 15 cm spacing once established. Water well after sowing and keep soil evenly moist during dry spells. Successional sowings provide a continuous supply of fresh leaves.

 

Grow and maintenance

Grow in fertile soil with regular watering to encourage lush foliage. Harvest leaves frequently to prolong growth. Allow some plants to flower and set seed for spice harvest. Lemon Coriander prefers cooler conditions and may bolt in hot weather.
