Coneflower Pale Purple Seeds – Irish Plants Direct

A graceful and long lived perennial, Echinacea pallida produces elegant drooping petals in soft pale purple surrounding a prominent coppery cone.

This species has a more delicate wildflower look than the better known Echinacea purpurea, giving borders a naturalistic prairie style charm while still delivering excellent pollinator value.

Coneflower Pale Purple forms sturdy upright stems topped with lightly scented blooms from early to late summer. Bees butterflies and beneficial insects flock to the nectar rich flowers, while the seed heads provide autumn interest and winter food for birds.

Its drought tolerance and strong structure make it ideal for low maintenance borders gravel gardens and wildlife friendly plantings.

This hardy perennial thrives in full sun and well drained soil and becomes more impressive each year. Once established it is highly resilient and requires very little care, making it a reliable choice for gardeners seeking long lasting colour and ecological benefit.
