Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to September in well-prepared soil. Scatter seeds thinly in shallow drills 1 cm deep, spacing rows 25 cm apart. Cover lightly with soil, water gently, and keep moist until germination.

 

For continuous leaf production, sow every 2-3 weeks throughout the growing season. Thin seedlings to 15-20 cm apart to allow for healthy growth.

 

To harvest seeds, allow plants to flower and form seed heads. Once they turn brown, cut the stems and hang them upside down in a paper bag to dry. Shake to release the seeds for use in cooking or replanting.
