A reliable variety that produces uniformed solid white curds with a good flavour. 

 

An early and quick to mature cauliflower from summer onwards that is well worth growing.

Cauliflowers require a deep fertile humus rich soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn, they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

 

Water well when transplanting and during dry spells. 

 

Sow on a sunny window sill or heated propagator from January. When the plants are large enough to handle pot into trays to grow on. 

Gradually grow on and harden off to play outside from march. 

 

Sow out side in a seed bed from March - May sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep thin the seedlings eventually spacing the plants 45cm apart and 60cm between rows in their final growing position treading the plant in well.

 

A sowing can be made in October keep in a cold frame or cool greenhouse or tunnel.
