This popular mid to late cropping variety has dense white heads with a mild sweet flavour.

 

It has a good tolerance to cold making this an excellent winter vegetable.

Cauliflowers require a deep humus rich soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn, they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

 

Water when transplanting and keep well watered during dry spells. 

 

Sow out side in a seed bed between March - May sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep thin the seedlings eventually spacing the plants 45cm apart and 60cm between rows in their final growing position treading the plant in well.
