Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors

Sow thinly on the surface of moist seed compost from March to April. Lightly press the seeds into the compost and keep at a temperature of around 15 to 18 degrees. Maintain even moisture and transplant seedlings into small pots once they are large enough to handle. Harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

Outdoors

Direct sow from April to May in a sunny well prepared bed or container. Scatter seeds thinly over finely raked soil and water gently. Thin seedlings to allow each plant space to develop a strong flowering mound.
