Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to May. Use seed trays or small pots and cover lightly with compost. Maintain a temperature of 18-21°C until germination, which usually takes around 7-14 days.

 

Once seedlings are strong enough, transplant them outdoors, spacing plants 30 cm apart in well-prepared soil. Ensure they receive consistent moisture and protection from strong winds.

 

Sow outdoors between June- July 0.5cm deep. Eventually space the plants between 30cm - 40cm apart.

 

Harvest mature heads in late spring or early autumn, when they have reached a compact size and the leaves are firm. Forco F1 offers a quick, reliable harvest, making it a favourite for gardeners seeking fresh cabbage in a short time.
