Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist compost and cover lightly. Keep at 20 to 25°C until germination. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost, spacing 25 cm apart.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Pinch out growing tips to encourage branching and prevent early flowering. Water regularly but avoid waterlogging. Protect from cold draughts. Harvest leaves frequently to maintain productivity. Remove flower spikes if you want prolonged leaf harvest.
