Sowing Instructions

 

For early flowering, sow seeds indoors from February to April. Fill seed trays with fine compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface, and lightly cover with compost. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 18-21°C. Germination occurs in 7-14 days.

 

Once seedlings develop true leaves, transplant them into individual pots. Harden off young plants before planting outdoors after the last frost, spacing them 25-30 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered spot with well-drained soil.

 

For direct sowing, wait until after the last frost and sow seeds in well-prepared soil, covering lightly. Water gently and thin seedlings as needed.
