Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to June sowing the seed by sprinkling the seeds on the surface of moist compost, lightly press them in, and do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 15-20°C. Germination can take several weeks, so be patient.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on in a cool, bright location. Harden off before planting outside after the risk of frost has passed.

 

For direct sowing, scatter seeds in well-prepared soil in late spring, keeping the area moist until germination occurs.
