Sowing Instructions

 

For best results, sow seeds indoors from February to May. Lightly press seeds onto the surface of moist, well-drained compost without covering, as they require light to germinate. Place in a cool, bright location at 15-18°C. Once seedlings are established, transplant them into individual pots and grow on until ready to plant outdoors after the last frost.

 

Alternatively, sow directly outdoors from April to July in a prepared seedbed. Thin plants to 20-30 cm apart once established.
