Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist seed compost between January and March. Do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 18–20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into trays or small pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

Outdoors:

Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or light shade, spacing 20 cm apart. Water regularly during dry periods and remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering.
