Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds on the surface of moist well drained compost and lightly press in. Do not cover heavily. Maintain a temperature of 20 to 25°C in a propagator or warm bright location. Germination can be slow and irregular. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on in warm conditions and plant out after the last frost.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly and feed every two weeks with a high potash fertiliser during the flowering season. Provide shelter from strong winds. Overwinter plants indoors or in a frost free greenhouse. Prune lightly in spring to shape and encourage branching. Ideal for large containers and warm sheltered borders.
