Sowing Instructions

Alternatively, sow directly into prepared soil in late spring once the weather has warmed.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during establishment, then sparingly once plants are growing strongly. Amaranthus prefers free draining soil and thrives in warm sunny positions. Support may be needed in exposed areas. Remove faded plumes to encourage fresh growth or leave them to dry naturally for autumn interest.
