Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press the seeds onto the surface but do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 18-21°C. Germination typically occurs within 10-14 days.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 15-20 cm apart in a sunny or partially shaded location with well-drained soil.

 

For bushier plants and a longer blooming period, pinch out growing tips when young and deadhead spent flowers regularly.
