Agastache Astello Indigo Seeds – Irish Plants Direct

Agastache Astello Indigo (Agastache hybrida) is a stunning perennial renowned for its rich indigo-blue flower spikes and aromatic foliage.

A true magnet for pollinators, this compact and free-flowering variety attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects throughout summer and early autumn, adding life and colour to any garden.

With its upright, bushy habit and continuous blooms, Astello Indigo is perfect for garden borders, containers, or pollinator friendly plantings.

The fragrant, mint scented leaves add another dimension to this beautiful plant, which also makes an excellent cut flower for fresh or dried arrangements.

Exceptionally hardy and drought-tolerant once established, Agastache Astello Indigo thrives in sunny, well drained soils and performs beautifully in both cottage style and contemporary gardens. Its resilience and long flowering season make it a top choice for gardeners looking for vibrant, low maintenance summer colour.

Outdoors:
Plant out from May onwards in full sun and well-drained soil, spacing plants 30 cm apart. Deadhead regularly to encourage continual flowering and remove faded stems in autumn for tidy growth.

Agastache Astello Indigo offers months of dazzling indigo blooms, fragrant foliage, and exceptional pollinator appeal. Hardy, easy to grow, and wonderfully ornamental, it’s a superb addition to any sunny garden border or wildlife-friendly space.
