Sowing Instructions

Indoor Sowing (Recommended for Early Blooms):

 

Sow seeds indoors from January to April in trays of moist, well-drained seed compost.

Lightly press seeds into the soil surface but do not cover, as they need light to germinate.

Keep trays at a temperature of 18-21°C and ensure the soil remains moist but not waterlogged.

Direct Sowing:

 

Sow outdoors from May to June in a prepared seedbed in a sunny location.

Thin seedlings to 30-40 cm apart once established.
