This long flowering perennial is a cottage garden favourite it bears attractive large flat headed golden yellow flowers during summer. 

 

They stand tall on strong stems above dark green ferny foliage bringing excellent colour to beds and borders during summer.

 

Excellent for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

☀️Sow January - July

 

Sow between January - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on. 

 

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower later in the summer. 

 

Sow in open ground between May and July
