Zinnia Whirlygig Mixed Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These eye catching half hardy annuals have vibrant bi coloured flowers in a mix of bright shades providing fabulous summer displays in mixed beds, borders and containers.

They make a great cut flower and are excellent plants for encouraging bee's and butterflies into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between April and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays to grow on.

Planting out when the risk of frost has passed.
