Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April in trays or pots filled with fine compost. Cover lightly with compost and keep moist, maintaining a temperature of 18-22°C for successful germination.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20-30 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered position.

 

For direct sowing outdoors, wait until all risk of frost has passed and sow seeds in well-prepared soil, lightly covering them and keeping the soil moist. Thin seedlings as needed to allow for proper spacing.
