Yarrow Herb Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This native wild flowering perennial has attractive large flat heads of white flowers that stand on strong stems above dark green ferny foliage during summer.

They are excellent for encouraging many benificial incects into the garden.

A medicinal plant that can be used to possibly help aid digestion, anxiety and inflammation.

Seep the symptoms leaves in hot water to make a tea.

Sow January - March, April - June outside

Germination takes 7 - 14 days.

Cut down after flowering

Sow between January - March on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on. Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower the next summer.

Alternatively sow outside between April - June in rows thin the young plants to 35cm apart.
