Trailing Snapdragon Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

Trailing snapdragons are a delightful cascading variety, producing delicate brightly coloured blooms that spill beautifully over hanging baskets, window boxes, and containers.

With their soft trailing habit and continuous flowering throughout summer, they create a stunning display of colour while attracting bees and other pollinators to the garden.

Unlike their upright relatives, these trailing snapdragons have a more relaxed, flowing form, making them ideal for adding height and movement to floral arrangements. Their charming, dragon-shaped flowers bloom profusely, bringing long lasting interest to any setting.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors from February to May in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Press seeds lightly into the soil but do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 18–20°C and keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge. Once large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outside after the last frost.

Trailing snapdragons bring effortless elegance to hanging displays, making them a must-have for summer gardens.
