Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds 0.5 to 1 cm deep in pots or trays of moist well drained compost. Maintain a temperature of 18 to 24°C in a propagator or warm bright location. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant out after the last frost into greenhouse beds grow bags or sunny sheltered outdoor positions.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Train plants up canes or strings and remove side shoots regularly to maintain a single productive stem. Water consistently and feed every two weeks with a high potash fertiliser once flowering begins. Remove lower leaves as plants mature to improve airflow and fruit quality. Provide strong support as fruits can become heavy.
