Tofu Soy Bean ORGANIC Seeds

Tofu Soy (Glycine max) is a high-yielding, protein-rich soybean variety, ideal for home growers looking to produce organic soybeans for making tofu, soymilk, miso, or edamame.

Once established, Tofu Soy requires minimal maintenance just keep soil consistently moist and weed free. Harvest when pods are plump and green for edamame, or allow them to dry on the plant for tofu production.

 

Sowing Instructions

 

Outdoors:

Sow seeds directly into warm, prepared soil from April to June, spacing them 5 cm apart in rows 45 cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil and keep moist until germination occurs.

 

Indoors (for early crops):

Start seeds during March in pots or trays at 18–22°C. Transplant young plants outdoors once risk of frost has passed, ensuring they have full sun exposure.
