Tagetes Lucida ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This easy to grow perennial culinary herb is often grown as an annual.

The small golden yellow flowers grow above glossy green foliage that has a tarragon flavour with a hint of anise.

Known also as sweet mace they are perfect for planting in beds, borders and container displays.

Sow between February - May on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 6mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
