Sweet Pea Spencer Mix ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
 
This climbing annual bears a mix large brightly coloured flowers fragrant flowers throughout summer.
 
They grow on long slender stems making them excellent cut flower. 
 
Grow in a sunny border against an obelisk, trellis or fence.

Sow January - May or  September - October 
Loam or sandy soil thats acidic, alkaline or neutral 
Germination time 10 - 25 days

Plant in beds, borders, cut flower, cottage, containers, wildlife

Deadhead to prolong flowering
 
When the young plants have 3 - 4 sets of leaves pinch out the growing tip to promote bushy growth. 
 
Sow indoors between January - March on a sunny warm window sill or in a propagator grow on and plant out when the risk of frost has passed. 
 
Sow outdoors April - May where they are to grow sowing 2 seeds 10cm apart.
 
Sow September - October in a cool greenhouse or cold frame for planting out in spring.
