Sowing Instructions

 

Soak seeds overnight before sowing to aid germination. Sow individually in pots or trays of moist, free draining compost. Lightly cover with fine soil and maintain temperatures at 15 to 20°C. Germination usually occurs within 2 to 3 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 20 to 25 cm apart. Harden off indoor seedlings and plant out after last frost.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water regularly during dry spells and feed with a balanced fertiliser to encourage strong growth and abundant blooms. Remove spent flowers to prolong flowering and prevent seed set.
