Sunflower Henry Wilde Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This classic looking multi stemmed heritage variety has large flowers with bright yellow petals and a dark centre.

They make a nice cut flower.

Sunflowers are an excellent choice for encouraging wildlife into the garden.

Children love to grow these plants. Leave the seed heads over winter to feed the birds.

Sow between late April - May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where they are to grow space the plants to 30-45cm apart.

Alternatively sow during March on a sunny window sill in pots. Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 39-45cm apart.
